The college was started in the year 1991 and is named after our beloved former prime minster Late Sri.Rajiv Gandhi with the basic aim that the institute must rank the best in the state of Karnataka in particular and in India as well. This institute has all the necessary facilities required for academic excellence and to promote personality development among the students so that the students passing out of this institute should not be inferior or substandard for want of their basic needs. Almost all the governing body members are highly qualified Pharmacy professionals & academicians whose expertise will help in doing full justice to the Pharmacy course by maintaining education standard & professional ethics pas excellence. Over the period of two decades the society has gradually extended its activity for imparting education from primary level to post graduation course in Pharmacy. The institute has now become one of the most renowned education centers in north Karnataka and attracts students not only from the neighboring states but also from all over India. College of Pharmacy run by Rajiv memorial education society was established as self financing institute in 1991.The College is consistently striving hard to achieve highest quality in every sphere of activity in order to shape your future as Pharmacist. The college which was started in 1992 with an intake capacity of 40 students for B-Pharm course now also has Pharm-D, D-Pharm and M-Pharm (Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical chemistry) course. Our focus is to achieve this commitment by bringing in the philosophy that industry and education must co exists while knowledge and experience will continuously and dynamically keep the students performing at the peak level in the present and in the future. The institution has become a hub of research and development activity. We have a wide range of well equipped laboratories that help the students and faculty explore their field of study. Faculty members from our institute regularly present papers and participate in seminar and conferences all over the country. Our campus has indeed become a symbol of quality education dedicated to nurture the talent, aspiration of the vibrant youth of the country. Our College is one of the leading providers of Pharmacy education in the Northern Karnataka. We aim to give every student in our care the very best possible education in order to prepare them for life beyond college.
